FOCUS on the GOOD! Morning Affirmations to Start Your Day Positively
Morning Affirmations to Start Your Day
Let’s take a few minutes right now to prime our minds to look for the good today, to look for what’s right in the world, to move through this day with an expectation that amazing, positive things are all around us.
And we just need to be intentional about noticing and appreciating them.
So whether you’re sitting, walking, driving, whatever you’re doing — just take a moment to safely get centered.
You can watch and listen to the YouTube video, or read the transcript below …
Take a couple of slow deep breaths in … and out.
One more in … and out.
I’ll recite each affirmation. In the space that follows, you can repeat it back to yourself either out loud or in your mind.
Or you can just sit in the silence in between and visualize how you would embody that affirmation.
So if you’re ready, let’s begin.
Today, I look for the good.
Today, I look for what’s right.
Today, I look for the silver lining.
I move through today with an expectation of joy.
I move through today with an expectation of fun.
I move through today with an expectation of pleasure.
Today, I look for opportunities to laugh.
Today, I look for opportunities to give compliments.
Today, I look for opportunities to care.
I move through today with optimism.
I move through today with purpose.
I move through today with enthusiasm.
Today, I look for opportunities to be grateful.
Today, I look for opportunities to be happy.
Today, I look for opportunities to be generous.
I move through this day with excitement.
I move through this day with confidence.
I move through this day with gratitude.
Today, I look for opportunities to be amazed.
Today, I look for opportunities to be pleasantly surprised.
Today, I look for opportunities to be happy.
So let me ask you, how does that feel?
How does it feel to set the tone for your day. To set an expectation of uncovering and discovering the good, of enjoying what’s right in your world?
That’s not to say there won’t be challenges, there won’t be obstacles along the way.
But by reciting these types of affirmations, you’re training your brain not to obsess about the problems — to consistently remind yourself that we live in an abundant world.
We live in a world with an infinite number of examples of positivity, good people, honorable behavior.
But to see and notice and appreciate all these countless examples, you must condition your mind to look for them — to seek them out — to even expect them as a normal part of your life.
And the more you see the good, you acknowledge the good, you appreciate the good — the better your life will become and the more good will flow in.
That is my sincere intention for you with this recording. Return to it as often as it serves you. Listen every day if that helps.
This is Bob Baker from BobBakerInspiration.com saying thanks for listening. Have an amazing day. So long for now.
